About Me

Martin RehmI was born and raised in Düren / Germany, where I also attended High School. After my graduation from the “Gymnasium am Wirteltor” (1998), I studied International Economic Studies at the University Maastricht / Netherlands. During my studies I specialized in Labour Markets and conducted a related internship in South Africa. I obtained my Masters degree in 2003. Thereafter, I worked as a lecturer for General Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (University Maastricht). In 2004, I became project team member of “Webspijkeren” (funded by SURF). The project’s goal was to develop and implement online remedial teaching courses for incoming students. In 2006, I started to work for the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (MGSoG), as an E-Learning Expert and a member of the Content Support Team of the UNICEF Learning Programme. Currently, I am the Project Coordinator of this project, as well as the e-Learning Expert of the MGSoG. The latter entails projects such as “Webspijkeren 2” (Online Summer / Winter Course Economics) and “eMerge OP 3.7” (Online Course Political & Social Science).
